and Grist, a local firm of

Solicitors, regarding the policy

to be adopted in the matter of

trade marks which were registered

in the Colony before the war by enemy subjects.

2.

The case referred to by Messrs. Wilkinson

and Grist is that of the Transmarina Trading Company who

desire to import into Hongkong German needles bearing the

trade mark of a liquidsted German firm, which mark is now

vested in the Custodian of Enemy Property.

3.

I shall be glad if I may be informed by

telegraph of the wishes of His Majesty's Government as to the

course that should be adopted in dealing with these enemy trade

marks.
