GOVERNMENT HOUSE,

HONGKONG. 3rd October, 1919.

My Lord,

I have the honour to inform Your Lordship

that an application has been received on behalf of the owner

of Inland Lots 2271 and 1744 for an extension of these lots

as shown in pink on the enclosed plan.

2.

The area asked for is unsuitable for

development independent of the lots referred to and I have therefore permitted the extension without auction, subject to your approval, on the following terms:-

(a). The lessee to surrender the existing Crown Lease of

Inland Lot 1744 when required by the Land officer.

(b). The lessee to be granted a new Crown Lease of Inland

Lote 1744 and 2271 including the area coloured red

on plan. The new lease to be for the same term and

to commence from the same date as the existing Crow

Lease of Inland Lot 1744, namely 2nd October, 1905,

and to be subject to all the clauses and covenants

contained in the old lease and conditions of sale of

Inland Lot 2271 together with the following.

(c). The lessee to pay in to the Colonial Treasury within

seven days of the date of a letter from the Director

of Public Works stating that the area is at his

disposal, premium for the extension show coloured

red on plan at the rate of 46 cents per square foot.
