mother's name is Mary Green. My mother was at the date

John Harwood Green was bom at Shrapaton, in the County
of Northampton in England on the 21st January 1826. I
have no record of my father's movemente until he joined
the Imperial Chinese Customs service on or about the
1st April 1874 at Foochow in China. My father WAS
latterly employed in the same service at Amoy and at
Swatow and he resided in Swatow until the date of his
death which took place on the 3rd August 188 1, My mother
the said Mary Green latterly resided in Shanghai and died
there on the 26th January 1912. My father's Nationality
by birth is English and my mother's Chinese and my
Nationality by birth is Chinese.
All the statements in my Memorial dated the 3??
day of September 1919 which is now produced and shewn
to me and is marked 5.E.G. are true and correct.
And I make this solemn Declaration conscientiously
believing the same to be true and by virtue of the
provisions of the Statutory Declarations Act, 1835.
