GOVERNMENT HOUSE.

26th September, 1919.

I have the honour to inform Your Lordship that

on his return from leave I propose to appoint Dr. W. J. Woodman

to be Assistant Modical Officer of Health, Kowloon, and I should

bo glad if steps may be taken to fill the vacancy in the Medical

Staff thus created.

2.

Dr. McKonny is due for leave and it is necessary

that he should take a holiday as soon as possible in view of the

strenuous work he has been performing during Dr. Johnson's

absence on leave.

It is therefore desirable that the vacancy

cansod by Dr. Woodman's transfer from the Government Civil

Hospital Staff should be filled with as little delay as

possible.

3

I enclose horowith a statement showing tho

conditions of service, but the rate of payment should be the

same as has been offered to Dr. Valentine who has recently been appointed to fill the vacancy caused by the rotiroment of Dr.

Soo my telegram of the 17th June, 1919.

37046 3you Roch.

I have the honour to be,

My Lord,

Your Lordship's most obedient,

humble servant,

AsusSevem

Officer Administering the Government.
