and I therefore request that in the circumstances, I may
have Your Lordship's authority to disburse to the more
deserving cases such annual allowances as are necessary, the
allowances to be continued to the widow, in case of death:
and I would suggest as an example of the rate at which these allowances might be granted, that Hessrs. P. P. Soares, A. J. de C. Rocha, and F. T. Gomes, should receive $600 annually.
