I, Charles Henry Parkinson, principal warder in the prison at Hong Kong, am returning to England on 3 months sick leave suffering from a tumour of the tongue.

2. I was informed at Hong Kong that all my papers would

be sent to you so I suppose you have them.

3. As the Government of Hong Kong takes care of the medical treatment of its servants when on sick leave I beg tha you will inform me by letter to this ship (which should reach London in about 10 days) on our arrival, whether there is any particular hospital or doctor I should report to.

4. Medical certificate as to my present condition

enclosed.
