My Lord,
I have the honour to forward a copy of a
Police report regarding two small boxes of stamp hinges which were received from His Majesty's Consul-General at
Canton. The boxes are also enclosed.
It seems probable that, as suggested in the report, the boxes were made in England for a German firm prior to the war, but it would perhaps be as well to invest- igate the matter.
I have the honour to be,
My Lord,
Your Lordship's most obedient,
humble servant,
Classeven
Officer Administering the Government.

VISCOUNT MILNER, G.C.B.,
