My Lord,

I have the honour to submit for Your

Lordship's approval a plan containing proposals for a re-

arrangement of the village of Ah Kung Ngam together with

-

the conditions on which it is proposed that future extensions

of the areas of existing lots may be granted, also the

conditions upon which the exchanges necessary for the re-

-adjustment of such lots may be made, in order to enable the

new scheme to be carried into affect as opportunities occur.

Ah Kung Ngam is a village situated four

miles to the eastward of the City of Victoria and m applica-

-tion having been received for the extension of an existing

lct, it is considered desirable to prepare such scheme and to

obtain Your Lordship's smotion in advance in order to

facilitate future action with respect to similar requests.

The following are the conditions pro-

-posed: -

(a). Leases of existing lots to ba surrendered when

required by the Land Officer.

(b). Premium for additional area at a rate varying

from 10 cents per square foot upwards accord-

-ing to position, le., to be paid into the

Colonial Treasury within 7 days of the date

of a letter from the Director of Public Works
