I have the honour to forward for Your Excellency's information the enclosed print of proceedings, at a meeting of the Legislative Council held today, upon a motion by Mr. P. H. Holy- -oak regarding the provision of a high powered wireless tele- -graph station.
You will see that the motion was withdraw upi undertaking which I gave that enquiry would be made as to "
question of increasing the power of the Stonecutters Stat. as to give direct communication with places as far distant
Honolulu, Colombo, and Calcutta.
I shall be much obliged if Your Excellency
will be so good as to advise me how far in your opinion such a
project is feasible or expedient.
