Re "wireless" ribel action,
-
I have to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of
yesterday's date re Mr. Bowley's letter (which you did not
enclose) and the amended apology. I quite agree with the
procedure outlined in your last paragraph.
I feel personally that mould Mr. Bowley puolish his
letter; even if the Editors refuse to join in the withdrawal
we might accept it as regards nim, It would strengthen
our hands against the papers, I take it? I believe that
all along Mr.Bowley has advocated apology and withdrawal, and
has met with flat refusals from Vessre.Hale and Cartwrigıt,
However this can be considered later if they do refuse. The
question of his share of costs would, I suppose, be the
difficulty.
I am, Genti emen,
Yours faithfully,
