to time to complete the transaction, but as they took no

action, I caused them to be informed that if the matter

should not be completad by the end of February the arrange-

-ment whereby one lease was to be issued for the whole of

the site now occupied by the Hospital would be cancelled.

The only communication received is a letter from the

Solicitors to the Trustees dated the 5th. February of which

I enclose a copy.

I think it right to refer this matter

to Your Lordship for final decision. My own view is that in

the exceptional circumstances the lease might be for a longer period than 75 years from the 23rd. November, 1882.
