My Lord,
I have the honour to inform Your Lordship
that it is in my opinion desirable that the Government should acquire the property known as Rural Building Lot 111 situated on the East side of the Victoria Hospital on the Peak, as shown on the enclosed plan.

The price asked by the owner, Mr. E. A. Ram, is £31,000, and from the enclosed report it would appear that it is fair. If purchased the house would be available in the first instance as quarters for an officer in the First Class, but it might become desirable later on to use it as an extension of the Victoria Hospital for maternity cases,
