country would be immediately relieved, to the great advantage of
El British interests generally,
I am aware that the silver question is a wide one and
embraces many other interests than those of the China trade, but
there is danger in delay, and I earnestly hope that the reply of
H. 1. Treasury may not be unduly delayed,
