No.50957, respecting the re-insurance of the Hong Kong Government's liability in connection with conscription of men for India, we have communicated with the Legal and General Life Assurance Office and also with the Norwich Union Life Insurance Society, and both Companies state that they have no Agent in Hong Kong, the latter adding, however, that they have several in India and ooald easily transact any business for the Hong Kong Government.
