In reply
to your letter of the 6th August, 1918, No.36808/1918 relating to the case of ex Lieutenant R.0.Barlow, I am commanded by the Army Council to say that they have no remarks
to offer as to his re-employment beyond observy-
ing that in view of the offences of which this officer was convicted they are of opinion that he could not ever again be permitted to hold His Majesty's Commission.
I am,
sir,
Your obedient Servant,
The Under Secretary of State,
Colonial Office,
London, S.W.1.
