Referring to our circular of 29th March 1917, copy of which we enclose herewith in case you are not able to easily trace same among your papere, you will see there from what was proposed with regard to the Liquidation of our Company.
By an Order, dated 14th March 1915, made by the Supreme Court of China, at Shanghai, upon the petition of this Company, it was ordered that the Company should be wound up, and the Official Receiver of the Court was appointed the Provisional Liquidator.
We have now received the following cablegram from the Head Cfrice at Shanghai:-
"Old Company expect Liquidator will pay shareholders" "proportion Capital in about three months date. Will" "require scrip. Recommend you to send immediately all" "ecrip. We will remit cash against and/or scrip New" "Company when I collect!

We should therefore be obliged if you would kindly send the Scrip covering the undermentioned Enery Securities direct to our Head Office at Shanghai, advising us that you have done so:-
