11 REFORM STREET,

4th March, 1918.

1.

Sir,

1. ROBINETI & COLPALY -

I beg leave to acknowledge receipt of your letter of 1st inst. and in reply to your queries give you the following information:-

(1)

(2)

(3)

The property in the pods is still considered to be in Messrs. Rosenstern and Company. This fim paid for the goods and from the correspondence you will see that the present holders are not prepared to release than without their sanction.

I do not know where the Head Office of the Hamburgische Sudsee A.G. is situated but have little doubt that

Hamburg will be their Headquarters.

The ultimate destination of the goods was intended to be Maron, in the Bimarck Archipelago which I understand is now in British possession.

My only object in intervening is to endeavour to obtain payment of the £167-0-5 which belongs to this Company to distribute it amongst their British Creditors.

I am, Sir,

Your obedient Servant, (Sgd.) ROBERT C. THOLISON.
