I have the honour to inform you that in my capacity as Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce I have been favoured by the Hongkong Government with copies of r. iinecough's confiden- tial reports upon "The Conditions and Prosects of British Trade in China" and "on "The Probable Position of British rate in the Far East after the war", both of which reporte have been placed in the library of the Hongkong General Cha iber of Con eros.
I have made application to the Colonial Secretary here for a further supply of these and an informed that on two copies of each reached the Government.
As such reports are of considerable vɛlue to the British commercial community, I eball be glad if it is at all possible to be supplied with twelve copies of each and any future reporta of a similar nature for confidential distribution to the members of the Chamber of Commerce Committee.
