I have the honour to inform you that we have been notified by the Army Agents that Mr.R.C.Barlow, Assistant Master, Education Department, Hong Kong, now on Military service, who held the appointment of Lieutenant in the Machine Gun Corps, was dismissed the service by sentence of General Court Martial on the 6th May. Ir.Barlow, who is now serving as a private in the 4th Leicestershire Regiment, has been paid his colonial allowance up to and including the 30th April, and has now applied to us for payment of his allowance for the month of May, and in the circumstances, I have to enquire what payment, if any, should be made to him from Hong Kong Goverment funde, as from the 1st lay inclusive.
