GOVERNMENT HOUSE,

14th. September, 1918.

I have the honour to inform you that my

attention has been drawn to a Board of Trade notification,

withdrawing the licences to pay fees in the United Kingdom

for the renewal of enemy owned trade marks that appeared in

the London Gazette of the 16th. July. I propose to issue a

proclamation here withdrawing the local licences that were

granted by proclamation on the 11th. February, 1916, and the

30th. November, 1917. I would, however, point out that by

virtue of section 18 of Ordinance No. 11 of 1917, enemy owned

trade marks will still remain on the register here in spite

of non-payment of renewal fees.

I have the honour to be,

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE

WALTER LONG, M, P.,

&C..

&c.

Sir.

Your most obedient,

humble servant,

Adudlevem

Officer Administering the Government.
