1.
I have examined the accompanying Ordinance intituled
An Ordinance to repeal the Anglo-Portuguese Commercial Treaty
Ordinance, 1917,
And I am
of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the
Governor's Instructions.
2. This Ordinance was passed in accordance with the instructions of the Secretary of State contained in his Miscellaneoue despatch of the 30th April, 1918.
3.
In my opinion this is an Ordinance to which His Excellency the Governor may properly assent in the name of His Lajesty and on His behalf.
