your letter 831/1918 of 24th, ultim, enclosing copy of a further letter from H. B. M. Consul-General at Yunnanfu with reference to this Chamber's subscription of $1,000 towards a Tunnanese Scholarship Fund for the Hongkong University.
Mr. Goffe's proposal has been considered by my Committee and 1 m directed to advise you that they are agree -able to an extension of the Grant to a period of 5 years.
