It is 1/50 of pay for every year's service until 20 years' service is reached when it increased by 2/50 for each year's service; 3/50 11 25 years and up to 2/3 on attaining
26 years' service.
In the Metropolitan force there is practically no half pay leave that counts as half service for pension purposes.

Besides weekly leave they up to 21 days annual leave for Inspectors, all of which count as full service for Pension. In the HongKong Force, the 9 months' leave after every five years counts as 1/2 service only for pension calculation. Three periods of leave therefore mean a deduction of 1 3/24 years'of service and four periods of leave 1 years' service
for pension calculation.
