From the Governor of Hong Kong to the Secretary of State
for the Colonies.

Unofficial members of Legislative Council unanimously desire that Colony of Hong Kong should make
a further gift of £250,000 towards the general expenses of the War. If you approve Crown Agents will be
instructed accordingly.
