In reply to your letter No. 3456/1916 of 23rd January, I am directed by the Commodore to inform you that he will be gled to permit Mr. Cary to assist Messrs. Sutherland and Young in formulating the scheme in question.
I am to add that in a telegram received by
the Command Paymaster from the Secretary, E. M. Treasury, Lon- don, it was stated that Mr. Bradden of the Ministry of Shipping will undertake the duties of Naval Expense Accounts Officer (Mr. Cary) at the end of January. The Commodore, however, has not as yet been notified of this change by the Admiralty.
