Sir,
I have the honour to inform you that an application for the renewal of the 21 years' Crow Lease of Garden Lot No. 3 has been received from Mr. A. M. L. Soares,
and that for the reasons set out in a minute by the Director of Fuciic Works, copy of which I enclose together with a plan of the Lot, I propose to grant the application on the follow- -ing terms:-
(a). Premium of 7 cents per square foot (equals
81,201.90) payable within 7 days of the date
of a demand note issued by the Public Works Department.
(b). Crown Rent 860 per anar (equals 150 per acre).
(c). No building of any description to be erected
on any portion of the lot.
(d). The lessee to be liable for the maintenance of
the covering over of the nullah which passes
underneath the lot.
(e). A new Crow Lease shall be taken up by the
lessee when called upon to do so by the Lond
Officer and the usual fee of 830 paid.
Before renewing the lease however it is
necessary
