With reference to your letter of the 14th. June last I am instructed to inform you that the follow -ing are the decisions of the Government with reference to certain amendments you suggest to the varicus clauses in the Draft Bill as set forth in your letter under reply and as set out in the Draft Bill enclosed there.ith.
I am instructed to call your attention to the terms of the Resolution of the Legislative Council for- -worded to you with the Colonial Secretary's letter of the
10th. July, 1914, which was the condition on which the Council approved the Draft Agreement and to inform you that in accordance therewith it will be necessary for the promot- -ers to furnish the Goverment with satisfactory proof of their financial ability to carry the tramvay scheme into
