With reference to the correspondence noted
in the margin, I have the honour to suggest
that I may be permitted to include for the
purposes of the first quoted despatch cer-
tain members of the Police Reserve.
I notice from the enclosure in your despatch
No.83 of the 10th of May last that in Shanghai and Fiji
certain Police Officers were included in the recommendation
made in pursuance of Mr. Bonar Law's Circular Despatch of
the 7th of September, 1916.
