SHEWETH;-

1. That your Petitioner has (excepting for the few short

periods of time hereinafter particularly stated wher he hac

been away from the Colony of Hongkong on ebent business vieite

to shanghai) prior to five years immediately preceding the date

of this Memorial continuously resided in the Colony of Hongkong.

The excepted periode during the past five years are:-

That Your Petitioner left Hongkong on the 94th February

1912 and arrived in Shanghai a few days subsequent to that

dats and stayed in Shanghai until the 21st July 1912 when Your

Petitioner returned to the Colony of Hongkong being absent

from the said Colony for about five montre.

That Your Petitioner 16ft Honekone on the 18th. day of May

1913 and arrived in Shanghai a far duje subsequent to that

date and stayed in Shanghal until the 26th. day of July 1913

when Your Petitioner returned to the Colony of Hongkong being

absent from the said Colony for about 2 northe. ACCORDINGLY
