Dear Sir,

I learn from Sir Thomas Berridge that at

Thursday's meeting of the Executive Committee of the Royal

Flying Corps Hospital it was decided to hold over for

further consideration, at a meeting to be held next Monday,

the resolution of which General Henderson had previously

given notice in a letter circulated to the Committee.

In that letter General Henderson defined the

basis on which Hongkong's offer was accepted by him on

behalf of the Hospital.

Major Atkinson and I do not accept his

definition and, as this difference of opinion is at the

root of the difficulties which have arisen over the

Hongkong Extension scheme I am anxious that all members
