Miss Gladys H.Jennings, B .A..., was during three

years a student in my German classes in this college, taking that subject as a part of the Pass Curriculum in Arte of the University of Durham.

At the end of her course Miss Jennings success- fully graduated in Arts, and remained an additional year at College for the study of the theory and practice of teaching.

I have the highest possible opinion of Miss Jenning's character. She is of pleasing address and ladylike presence, and to the qualifications which one looks for in a successful teacher, she adds capabilities in less directly scholastic matters, which have found ex- pression in various ways in her college life, and which give me every confidence in strongly recommending her.
