the bag, for transmission to addressees in China.

In this way it is hoped that any necessity for

censorship at Hong Kong will be obviated.

Brigadier-General Cookerill would be glad

if the Hong Kong Censors might be instructed to

keep a watch for stray lettere going to and

from these coolies and to examine the with a

view to the interception of any matter which

may be undesirable.
