eneral rule no export licenses will be granted for the ~xport of arms and anumition from the United Kingdom whether for sporting purvoses or otherwise, save in
xceptional circumstances. It may be desirable to continue to grant licenses for sporting arms which have already been ufactured, but the manufacture of these moods is being iscontinued.
