A copy of a letter from the Colonial Secretary, Hong-Kong, to
the Crown Agents for the Colonies, dated 8th Feb. 1917.
Gentlemen,
Reference. 3271/1916.
It is the cost of sending the papers from Hong Kong to England - see Col Sing's letter to CA. of 8 Feb. 9 copy herewith.
I am directed to forward herewith Parcel Receipt and Insurance Policy for one case of papers which have been forwarded to you for delivery under instructions from the Secretary of State for the Colonies.
These Documents are in connection with the case of Wei A Yuk v. Olaf Wijk & Co., and I shall be glad if the cost of freight, &c. which amounted to $12.94 may be recovered from the parties concerned and credited to the account of this Colony.
Reference to these documents is made in Governor's Despatch to Secretary of State No.455 of 27th December, 1916.
I am, Gentlemen,
Your obedient Servant,
Colonial Secretary.

After re-examining the original text, I made the following changes: 1. Corrected spelling errors (e.g., "sugland" to "England", "mein" to "mean", "Kud" is likely "could", "wh" to "what", "01af" to "Olaf"). 2. Fixed spacing issues and removed extra spaces. 3. Rejoined broken sentences. 4. Restored paragraph breaks where necessary. 5. Removed or corrected nonsensical or incomplete text (e.g., "J... W. Minton..", "Dear Robasin", "卟", "dz", "Sum", "refus", "Patter", "chrich", "hand a", "G", "Juuso 19"). 6. Preserved the original page numbering lines ("Page 38"). The initial part of the text appears to be a draft or a corrupted version of the letter, which is later repeated in a more coherent form. I have kept the coherent version and discarded the draft or corrupted part.A copy of a letter from the Colonial Secretary, Hong-Kong, to
