We pay expenses to the ship ( 3rd class rail fare plus about 10/- for incidental expense) to all new nurses; but we have no authority to pay expenses to Nurses returning from leave and Mrs.Barlow's statement that she was told that her train fare would be sent to her is not correct
Nurses of East and West Africa are told to claim expenses to the ship in the Colony after arrival. We do not appear to have any ruling respecting Hong Kong nurses but assumed that Mrs.Barlow's claim should be dealt with by the Government and transmitted it to Hong Kong accordingy
