I disallowed (by) putting question but promised to make enquiry confidentially for information on this subject. There is no doubt that commercial com- manity who have been long ago compensated their employees for loss in connection with exchange feel very strongly on this subject and I should be grate- ful for any information that could be vouchsafed.
