I have the honour to transmit for your consideration the enclosed copy of a minute by the Director
of Public Works relative to an application made on behalf of the University of Hongkong for an extension of Inland Lot 1859 which is one of the lots vested in the University under section 20 of Ordinance No. 10 of 1911.

The additional land is required for the
purposes indicated in Sir Charles Eliot's letter and I re-
-commend that the extension be granted on the same terms as were imposed in the case of the original lot.
