The Company is now issuing 3,235 new shares and
in accordance with the provisions of its Articles these sharee have to be offered to the existing members in proportion to their present holdings. Consequently the above-mentioned share- holders are, but for their being enemies, entitled to the number of shares set out in the third column above.
We are advised that they cannot be given the opportunity of applying and subscribing for these shares at the price of Tis. 52 per share at which theee shares are heing issued, and accordingly such opportunity has not been, nor will be given to them.
We shall be obliged if you will inform us in due couree whether you propose to take any steps with regard to the rights of these enemy shareholders under action of the &bove-mentioned Ordinance.
