Referring to your Despatch No. 32 of the

12th. February, 1917, I have the honour to submit for the

signification of His Majesty's pleasure the following Ordi-

-nance intituled:-

An Ordinance to repeal the North Borneo Extradition

Ordinance, 1896. No. 16 of 1917.

I take this opportunity to correct my

Despatch No. 103 of the 29th. March, 1917, with regard to the

grouping arrangement under Part II of the Fugitive Offenders

Act of 1881. I consider it desirable that Federated Molay

States should be grouped with Hongkong, and the grouping of Straits Settlements and Labuan with Hongkong should continue.

Should you think it desirable I would be disposed to agree to Johore, Kedah and Perlis, Kelantan, Brunei, and North Borneo

being grouped with Hongkong.
