I am directed by Mr.Secretary Long
to transmit to you, to be laid before
the Board of Education, the accompanying
copy of a despatch from the Govemor
of Hong Kong regarding the application
of Miss. Gladys H.Jennings, B.A., for
employment in the Education Department
of the Colony, and to request that the
Selection Committee of the Board of
Education will report whether they
consider Miss Jennings suitable for
the appointment in question.
