XIV D. E. Light duties
2 Lance Corporals and 12 Privates were on the 9th. February 1917 temporarily transferred to the Engineer Company H.K.V.C.
for these duties.
XV Musketry
The amual Husketry Course Part I and Standard Test as laid down for Territorial Regiments (Musketry Regulations 1909 Reprint 1914) p. 274-279 both for Recruits and trained men was fired at the King's Park Range during the Winter months. 83 Recruits fired the Recruits Course and 244 men the trained
men's Course.

Individual and collective fired practices were fired by A & B Companies in the neighbourhood of the Kowloon City range on the
11th. and 18th March 1917.

St. John Ambulance Brigade
The Salyingpun (old Boys) division of the local St. John Ambulance Brigade was attached to the H. K. V. R. during the year
~field- and have been in attendance on Field Days, firing and Mobilization under the Corps Medical Officers. They are fully equipped with stretchers and first aid appliances and have proved very useful.
