The work of the Vadets in Camp was inspected by the Commandant
on 6th. Jamary, 1917.
Mobilization.
The Corps is still mobilized under Proclamation by His Excellency the Governor. A guard of one N.C.0. and six men has been maintain- ed, by the H.K.V.C. and Reserves altemately, nightly over the Wireless Station on Stonecutters Island throughout the year.
Muskatry
All units with the exception of the Stretcher Bearer Section have fired the Musketry Course laid down for Infantry. Table "B" and wi with the exception of Engineer Compmy and Stretcher Bearer Section, all units carried out field firing (Table "B" 20 rounds
per man).
Off Range Training. Indication and recognition of Targets, judging distance etc. has been practised frequently. Miniature Cartridge Practica on the 30 yards Range, Kennedy Road, has been carried out by all recruits and others who required it before firing on King's Park Range.
Annual CamA
There has been no camp of Instruction this year.
Competitions
The usual competitions have not taken place.
Inspection
His Excellency the G.0.C. inspected the Belchers 6o Section at Belchers Fort on 28th. January, 1917. The Infantry Units on the Polo Ground on 16th. March 1917, and the Artillery Battery at Volunteer Headquarters on 17th April 1917; all in Field Service Marching Order.
General Remarka
I have again to place on record that all ranks of the Corps have responded in a cheerful mammermanner to every call made upon them during the year. The Inspecting Officer, Adjutant, Hon. Lieut. and Quartermaster and Corps Armourer have afforded the Commandant able and ready assistance at all times.
