On the 31st March 1917 the strength of the Corps, excluding those
members serving with the Imperial Forces, was 563.
During the past year 103 new members were enrolled and 85 struck off the strength, 60(having resigned) on leaving the Colony, 8 on Medical Grounds, 10 transferred to other Local Units and 7 killed
in action.
Table 1 shows the state on April 1st. 1917.

149 members of the Corps have been granted leave for the duration
of the war for the purpose of serving with the Imperial Forces.
