Attomey-General's Chambers,
Hongkong, 3rd. April, 1917.
I am instructed to say that His Excellency
the Governer considers it desirable that en account of its
onday association the Siemens China Hectrical Engineering Co. (Hongkong) Ltd. should be wound up, but he is prepared to refrain from appointing a liquidater under the Alien Enemies
(Winding up) Ordinances, 1914 to 1917, in this case if the
company will undertake to go into voluntary liquidation as
from the first June, 1917, and will further undertake to pay to the Custodian the net amount of the preceeds realised,
less the expenses a incurred in the course of the liquida-
-tion.
It will also be necessary that His Excellency should approve of the liquidatɗ, and if the company agree to the above proposal I would askysu to submit the name of
the proposed liquidstor in due course.
Youre faithfully,

Attorney-General.
