Referring to the interview which the Goverror
rad recently with Lieuterart Murphy ard Private Thursfield of the Hongkong Volunteer Corpe who are employees in the Hongkong and Sherghei Bark, I am directed to transmit the enclosed liet of employees in the Bark who are members of the said Corse or of the Special Polios Reserve and to request you to inform tech of the gentlemen ramed that the Governor "equires their services with the Armed Forces of the Colony and cerrot permit them to leave the Colery except by speciel arrangemert betweer Ris Excellency and the chief Marager of the Berk.
