620 Texas Agreement, jointly wish us, with a demand that we should exclude clause four, though you were fair enough to add that you would pledge yourselves not to approach the Texas Company.
I have, of course, discussed also this matter with the Texas people, as arising from the correspondence (letter No.5, before them),

and they find this clause quite fair and say that, apart from your having

signed it, a waiving of this clause would not help you either, as they would not think of at anytime doing this business with you without us, after the good and faithful service which we had rendered then.

At any rate, we shall on no account agree to a cancellation of this just and usual olause, for the simple reason that this would enable - as written in my No. 5 to do the business without us, though you did not actually approach the Texas Company, I am quite sure also that you have realized this meanwhile and that you would not have made this stipulation had you thought of the possibility it included.
The Texas Company are now waiting the return of Mr. Miglietta (Vice President) to disouse what action to take.
