We hand you enclosed letter received from Mr. Wallace J,
Hansen, of Hongkong, who has for some years looked after our
interests in that port. This gentleman is a Dane by birth and
before replying to his letter we shall be glad to hear whether
in the opinion of His Majesty's Government there is any reason why we should not continue to make use of his services under
existing conditions.
Should it be necessary to refer the matter out to hongkong
we shall be glad if you will ask for a cable reply, as it is of importance to us that we should make our abrangements without loss
of time,
