I am directed by Secretary Sir E. Grey to

enclose a copy of a note from the Swiss Minister in

London concerning some delays that have arisen respect-

ing the correspondence between Messrs Liebermann & Walohli

of Zurich and their customers in Japan.

Assuming that the communications referred to

may have been detained by the Cable Censor at Hong Kong

or Singapore, I am to request, if Mr. Bonar Law sees no

objection that enquiries may be made of the Governments

concerned, if possible by telegraph, whether this has beạn

the case.

The firm of Liebermann & Walchli does not appear

on the Black List.
