I had an opportunity of placing the letter from
he Department of lay the 30th, before the "ursing Committee to-day, on the subject of the transfer of ise ..Jacobs, Sister, Medical Department, Hong Kong, to a pensionable
appointment elsewhere in the Colonial Service.
In reply, I am desired by the Nursing Committee to say that they consider Miss Jacoba quite a suitable candidate
for one of the vacancies in the Straits Settlements or the
Federated Malay States, as suggested by the Secretary of
State.
