With reference to your letter of the 8th instant,
No1360/16, in which you transmitted oopy of a
telegram from the Governor of Hong Kong relative to the
export of hemp to Switzerland, I am instructed by the
Director of the War Trade Department to state for the
information of Mr. Secretary Bonar Law that this
Department has no objection to the export of the
consignment in question on the condition mentioned in
the latter part of your letter.
